I am just about to progress to contract with a contractor on a design and build basis, on an Eco3 WHR project. I am not the RC, but the Project Coordinator for the HA client. My understanding from our PAS Club meetings is that if the various positions, Retrofit Coordinator, Retrofit Designer and Retrofit Installer are still in training (and provide evidence of such), and we follow the PAS 2035 Guidance/Process, then the works can still be PAS2035 compliant. They are all employees of the contractor. The individual named as the Retrofit Designer is a qualified Architectural Technician. Do these people in the process of qualifying have to have completed qualification by end of project? Any other relevant guidance you wish to offer on this situation – which I imagine is/will become fairly common?
